"Pinhão is pretty small so I didn't have high hopes to find anything vegan. However, I was lucky at Café Imperio. It's a restaurant with typical food (not exclusively vegan vegetarian) but it has a Veggie burger, and also a Tofu salad. It actually says that the burger is vegetarian, but checking the ingredients they were all vegan, as it was made with soja and other plant based ingredients, but may contain traces of milk and eggs, like many other products on the market. The burguer is vegetarian because it comes with an egg and cheese but I asked for it without it. They also had almond milk for the coffee. The restaurant is very nice and the waiter was also super nice and helpful (he is vegetarian which helped a lot). Would be awesome to have a couple extra vegan options but I understand it's a small town and not a vegan restaurant. Happy cow doesnt let me put 5 stars because it's not exclusively vegan vegetarian, but because of the service and food I definitely would if I could. "Avoid this place at all cost . I regret ever setting foot in there. The potatoes and vegetables that accompanied the steak were noticeably old not fresh at all . Asked for 1 and half chickens and was told they dont do halves so i asked for 2 chickens when it came to the table only one chicken came . I questioned the waitress about it and was told that one chicken is 2 halves .i was so confused i didn't know if i should have laughed or cry . Most definitely not worth the money spent ."
