"Popped in for lunch whilst staying pretty much next door. Friendly welcome and attentive service. The waiter joked around with our three year old and kept him amused throughout. Food was lovely....its a fixed menu for both lunch and dinner but lovely choices......Salade Landaise delicious...(found out later it was duck gizzards....tasted great), tuna and steaks perfectly cooked. Fantastic creme brulee to finish off. Wine was cheap by the bottle or pichet. Free water and bread. Would highly recommend it."

"Amateurish set up in a lovely village setting. Seemingly run by Dutch owners, they offer poor value for money and a lousy service. The only bright spot was the young French waitress who was cheerful despite the chaos surrounding her. Punters were left standing around as the owner tried to juggle his setting availability with slow service to the tables and a 'couldn't care less attitude'.Food was very basic and for vegetarians - don't even bother looking. Wine by the glass was dreadful unfiltered stuff that should be consigned as 'home-brew'. Expensive too.Why anyone would eat here when there are several other cafes and restaurants in this charming village defeats me.. A mistake never to be repeated."

"There are a variety of menus and set meals to chose from and they have their own specialities, which makes this restaurant very popular. With two courses at €25 and a pichet of wine at €13, it's hardly going to break the bank; two menus, coffee and wine cost us €65. I had a superbly tasty rabbit stew; apparently the great-grandmother's recipe, I was informed by her great-granddaughter. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The view over the river and viaduct is spectacular and is another reason as to why this restaurant is so popular. In peak holiday season, parking close by can be difficult. Plus it's hilly, so perhaps something to keep in mind in terms of mobility, but worth a visit, especially if you can get a riverside view seat."
