"Tried this for the first time today. The façade is unassuming, and the place could use a bit of upgrading so to speak. We ordered Thai beef noodle, Pad Thai, and Rice toppings. The portions are huge! The prices are very reasonable The Thai beef noodle has a delicate taste. Very nice. The not so good The pad Thai is OK, it has this orange sauce that does not taste like the usual pad Thai sauce. It has minimal quantity of peanuts. The spicy basil pork and chicken is nothing special. Again the portions are huge Overall: The place is good for those with limited budget but wants to have a fix of Thai food. Not very authentic but good enough"

"Passed by Malingap Street looking for a dinner spot, and I got curious to try Happy Thai hoping it would satisfy my Thai food cravings (I usually love Thai food ;)). - <br>
I ordered the following dishes - <br>

Tom Yum Goong - mild: The flavor was good but I found the laman lacking. There was one big shrimp & two small ones. Other than tomatoes the rest of the veggies inside were mostly spices ie ginger, leeks, etc. Ok as a starter, but not as ulam. It will not fill you up at all.<br>

Spring Rolls - fried: I was disappointed to find that there was no meat in the fried spring rolls. I had consulted with the waiter to ask what dish would go with the Tom Yum. He could have warned me that the spring rolls were all veggie.. especially knowing I was pairing it with just the Tom Yum. I could only bring myself to eat a couple of pieces.<br>

Tamarind juice - a bit on the sweet side. <br>

I was already very hungry coming into the restaurant, and it then took them 35 minutes to come out with my first order. Again would have been nice for the waiter to inform that the orders would take that long. Server did listen to my feedback and apologized for the delay.<br>

But overall I didn't enjoy my meal here - I don't know if I just made the wrong orders but was definitely bitin. Servers are nice, but need better training re the menu and managing of customer expectations."

"THREE WORDS: CHOCOLATE DECADENT CAKE. Holy Moly! This cake is super chocolatey and rich. It's just chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. If that's not enough chocolate for you, the cake is drizzled with caramel and chocolate ganache. Chocolate overload at its finest!<br>

Their signature Jack's Cheesecake is also out of the park! It's not overall sweet and has just the right taste of cream cheese. It's soft and smooth in texture and the edges are nicely golden brown. It's also nice that you can customize your cheesecake topping. You can choose from these delicious fruit toppings: Mango, Strawberry, or Blueberry. <br>

As for the sandwiches, I always go for their Philly Cheese Steaks. The meat tasted fresh and was slivered so thin. The cheese wasn't overwhelming but soaked into everything so well. The onions were delicately caramelized and the French Baguette was firm but still soft, and held the mammoth of meat and cheese together to the very end.<br>

I'll be back for some more decadent cakes and savory sandwiches. This place is highly recommended!

"I am happy that Little Zen Sushi gave me an authentic Japanese ramen experience at a ridiculously cheap price. Everything on their bowl was on point; the soft boiled egg marinated in soy, the tasty chashu slice, and the rich sesame broth of the tantanmen ramen! <br>
Can't wait to try the shio and Miso! But for the amazing tantanmen alone, 5 stars guys! Good job!"

My friend ordered beef ramen (i tasted it and masarap naman)<br>
BUT the food I ordered, gyudon (beef rice bowl), was disappointing :(<br>
The serving was big for a P130 meal so I was excited to eat but the beef tasted weird (like I was chewing pork liver) and it was matigas (sumakit ngipin ko). I even ask the waitress if gyudon ba yung nabigay sa akin since first time ko rin kumain ng gyudon na beef chunks instead of the usual thinly sliced beef for a gyudon that I know of. I just ate the rice and egg, leaving the beef chunks. :("
