"We ate at Riva for my husband’s birthday and can honestly say it was the best steak we have ever eaten. Tender and so tasty. The seating outside is intimate which makes for a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended"

"Top marks for the salad, I just loved the dressing. We got takeaway, and they nailed a takeaway salad. The chips were very crispy, really good. They went cold quickly but they were really crisp even after cooling down a bit. The seafood was a bit disappointing. The batter was bizarre, they should not do that batter, it did not compliment the taste or smell of fish that I was expecting. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were very friendly, served us quickly and had the food ready in time."

"Came here for evening meals on our two night stay. First night was very noisy with a live band playing way to loud to talk to each other, we had a couple of drinks and some snacks then left, second night a Sunday was much quieter. We ordered out meal both choosing steak, one medium rare the other, mine, well done and stipulated, no blood or pink, and I’d prefer burnt to raw. My husbands was fine, mine was no where cooked enough, I sent it back to the kitchen for further cooking, it can’t back only slightly better. I couldn’t eat it. Both our steaks were so tough, we changed knives, but were very chewy. In the end I asked for my money back, the staff obliged and we left. The staff were friendly and obliging but the meal was shocking. I would not recommend to anyone. Convince to our room was the only good thing."

"When I was in my small apartment in Sydney I heard of a subway on a island in the middle of no where so I went to go there but my care taker wouldn't let me so I ran away and flew to perth to go to Rottnest on arrival I got the meatball sub with double pickles this place is not different from every over subway and not worth the trip. but still was good"
