"We wanted a quick bite to eat in a warm place with a view of the beach. They have a very simple menu of hamburgers, chicken, pizza, panini, and fries. They also service wine, beer and sodas. We had the place alone, so the service was good. After a bit some kids showed up and it got a little loud while they played air hockey. The food was ok, but the portions were generous. The service was good and friendly."

"Agriturismo Pinuccia is the number 1 eatery in Carabus for a reason. It's simply the best ! Pinuccia and her son Andrea put on an amazing meal. I had a chat to her on the night of our visit and she said the most satisfying aspect of what she has been doing fo 37 years is the fact that at the end of the evening's meal complete strangers who have been sitting together at the dinner table enjoying the fruits of her labour all give each other a goodnight kiss and wish each other a great life. Through Pinuccia's food strangers bond over a family meal. What a great concept. If only our world leader's could take a leaf out of Pinuccia's book ! Back to the food . It was absolutely spectacular. I wish I could give this place a six rating instead of 5 ! The eel with pecorino was out of this world as too was the seafood fregola best is sardegna..not overkilled with tomato , the squid and potato dish was soooooo gooood as too the deep fried calamari so tender and prawns. Stuffed eggplant and deep fried pumpkin flowers delicious. The home made tomato salad straight from Pinuccia's garden ...omg....and Andreas' orange semifreddo for dessert finished with homemade grappa, mirto or wild fennel liqueur a must for anyone that loves sambuca or ouzo . Oh and throw in the home made vermentino and water all for just 30 euro a head...the best value meal in Sardegna without a doubt. Please see attached photos of the dishes I have tried to describe above. We all felt as though we had died and gone to a culinary heaven. Thank you Pinuccia and Andrea... Number 1 for a reason..."
