"On a hot and sunny day we went here for dinner with a group from my work. It's quite a drive up there longer and narrow winding road yet full tarmac so no problems here. When you arrive you find a traditionally decorated building...where you are warmly greeted by the owner. She looks after your every wish and serves fresh, local dishes and cheeses. Food is simple but very fresh made from local products. Here you find the peace and quiet and cool (altitude) to get away from the bustling and heated Montreux. The view on the lake is stunning and sunset beautiful. There are also a nice hike or two should you enjoy some exercise before or after eating. The place was quite busy with couples, so maybe best to make a reservation should you plan on going. Go here if you want some peace and quiet and are looking for some honest food and service in a beautiful setting."
In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.

"Heureusement que la cuisine était excellente. Mise à part ça, l'accueil était froid, le service laisse à désirer, le service du vin était nul et le vin rouge servi à 10°C.Suite à une erreur de la serveuse, nous avons eu droit à une entrée supplémentaire qui était destinée à une autre table. Malheureusement pour eux, nous avions déjà entamé notre assiette. La cheffe de rang ne s'est pas excusée et à indiqué à sa serveuse que comme on avait commencé et bien tant pis, elle nous laissait quand-même l'assiette.En plus, nous avons eu une remarque désobligeante au sujet de notre chien qui est de taille moyenne, par contre, les petits chiens couchés au milieu du passage ne dérangeaient visiblement pas.Dans ces conditions, il serait bien de ne pas accepter les chiens à la réservation.Inutile dire que c'était notre première et dernière visite !!"

"Il est temps que le groupe MOB investisse de l'argent au restaurant Plein Roc. La vue est superbe mais le restaurant n'est pas meilleur que le self. Les prix sont trop élevés pour une qualité basique. Une fenêtre fermait mal, le froid entrait... à 2000m c'est un vrai problème même en été..."
