"We arrived for supper on a Friday night and were seated at the bar, overlooking the front end food chefs. Menus were given and eventually our order was taken. The gal we watched prepare the dishes at a frantic pace without pause, was awesome! She was always clean, efficient, and showed amazing attention to detail. She gave us some of our delicious dishes as the evening progressed. We realized our edamame (an appetizer) had not been brought out, so were finished the served dishes and waiting for the rest. The waitress asked if we were done, could we leave so they could seat others waiting. We mentioned the edamame, and she went to get it. 10 minutes later, it arrived, and once we were done it, she presented the bill. I jokingly asked if we'd had all our food, and started the payment process. THEN another server brought our tempura prawns to the table. We refused it; she asked if we wanted to take it home - half an hour away, so NO. The point is, ALL the food was on the bill, but they forgot 2 items totalling over $20! The food was THE BEST sushi we have had, but the service leaves much to be desired."

"Nice looking restaurant and nice staff. Had the calfsalate roll and the stirring frige tofu on Vermicelli and I had a bubble that eats them. Just watch out because the liquid yellow dining sauce with which it serves your Vermicelli is fish sauce. Just ask for your meal without having it."

"Great prices, great food. You might have to wait for a table, but worth the wait. Mr spud Cafe is very small and only takes cash or at least the last time we were there we had to pay by cash. The service is great."

"We’ve been eating here and at the other since they opened and have always been happy with the food and service until last week. We went in an hour before closing and felt like we were served the ‘ends’ of the food. Mushy peas were dry and cold.The chips were reheated so looked over cooked yet not hot. The waitress dropped some of the food items so we got chips with gravy already on and the remaining half a pot of gravy on the side. Not sure if my pie had also been dropped but it was broken up. It was also luke warm and dry.The kettle was not reboiled so the tea was also luke warm.Really bad service (although polite) and food terrible. Sorry!"

"I have to admit. This place used to be my fav. But I 'm downgrading them because apparently you 're no longer allowed to customize ur Veggies if you have the deal of the day . It 's basically take it as it comes or there 's no deal . I can understand not being allowed to substitute different meats.. But not being able to customize my Veggies?? Like actually.? Someone has their head in their u know what and it needs to get pulled out. Needless to say. My sub no longer tastes the way I want."
