This restaurant is a founding member of the Accademia del pizzocchero di Teglio, which produces typical gastronomic delights made from Buckwheat. One of these is the regional dish ‘pizzoccheri’ which this restaurant makes by hand. We not only saw the process of making this type of pasta, but our group was invited to try to make it from the beginning, using local ingredients. The demonstration was done with the beautiful snow covered mountains and valley in the background. "Great service. Quick and helpful to fix a new and bigger table for our big family. Best pizza so far on this trip. Great wine (Chianti Classico) for a good price. The Spaghetti was great also. I would suggest to make smaller bruscettas, or to write in the menu that they are in fact big sandwiches, but it really doesn't matter as they were fantastic: Especially the formaggi. Will come back!!"
