"At the beginning of January, we were able to discover this charming and atypical place. We were also able to meet the owner, a warm man of exceptional goodness. I will come back voluntarily to get a delicious organic coffee and I will have a good time reading and discussion. "Since the arrival of Colin and Chris in 2015, this café has gone from strength to strength. We visit whenever we are in the area and the tasty menu choice (including fish and vegetarian) and the local Minervois wine never fail to disappoint. The choice to sit indoors or outdoors and free internet are augmented by live bands and quiz nights. The atmosphere is Franglais and fun for both local French and expats/visitors - usually from the UK, the Netherlands, Norway, Germany etc. The bar is a welcomed part of the village which, in itself, has a charm and is steeped in history. There is nothing "touristy" about this venue - it is a modest little jewel."

"Was often closed in June but should be open all summer this is our favourite restaurant and we've been returning most of the last 20 years! No English is spoken but that's ok! Lovely cats and small dog are very companionable! Very steep steps to gain entrance so not for the elderly or disabled. House wine isn't bad and deserts are delicious especially the peach melba!"
In nice weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

"We have lunched this noon, warm welcome, friendly meal gaspacho, brucheta from which we choose its garnish and for dessert waffle very light for me. "We were able to eat late at around 3pm, while all the other restaurants were no longer serving. salad of good quality, very greedy, just like the homemade vinaigrette, the good bruschetta, both with two drinks for 20€ very reasonable. our dogs have been tolerated on the proposed all-oubar terrace and have been able to settle in cb even if the manager has tickled"
