"Tried MS cafe for lunch because it looked a bit more organised than some of the other beach cafe shacks. Run by a couple who were both really lovely and spoke good English which helped. Really impressed with a fish biryani which was as good as I've had anywhere and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Two happy customers sat under a palm tree in the shade looking out to sea. Caught a glimpse of the kitchen which, like the outside is tidy and well organised. Don't know why this place isn't listed on trip advisor, but I'm losing faith in it anyway we got lucky!"

"Very cute cafe on the canal and one block from the beach. They have kid and foreigner friendly food like good chicken burgers and fries! Tender coconut shake is delish. The wait is a little long (45 1 hr) and some of our order came late but that seems normal for the area! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"While staying at Marari Beach, we had 3 dinners at Granma- all of which were stunning. A very simple setting for truly delicious home cooked food served with the warmest hospitality- a true gem of an experience each time! Shaji and his family went above...and beyond- helping us out when our son was unwell nothing to do with their food). Extremely kind people as well as great food!!! They also put a great deal of effort into sourcing high quality local produce which is great to hear. Definitely recommended for an authentic and heartwarming experience!"
