"Just visited from North Carolina, wanted to try some doubles and roti. Saw Ali's in the search results, decided to give them a try and was not disappointed. The doubles were great, as was the beef dhalpouri and shrimp dhalpouri. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were huge!And the staff were friendly and helpful. Will certainly be on my list next time I'm down there."

"This hole in the wall (literally) was okay. The best thing was the BBQ sauce. My ribs were decent and I wanted to be WOW'd and the grilled chicken was over smoked making the meat mushy. The lady working the covered front porch was a sweetie. I enjoyed talking to other customers while we waited on the left side of the porch for our order."

"The food was very unoriginal I’m from the rural area back home this was not it. The black rice (djòn-djòn) I’m used to does not taste this salty arid. The pikliz does not taste original. Not bad with the fried pork (griyo) but missing a little of its roots. First time eating in a Haitian restaurant with lack of authenticity in this area. At that point I was eating to not starve, not eating for the taste. You guys need lessons from a friend who is from the rural part of Haiti like Saint-Marc, L’Artibonite or you need to come down to West Palm Beach!!! The price does not do justice neither back here in WPB it’s $12.50 for a griyo complete!"

"It's definitely a strange combination. It is a pub and a restaurant, but not sharing the same room. There are two separate rooms, separated by a wall with a door. I can't really talk about the pub page as we were just in the restaurant. With the words of Guy Fieri it is a dive. This is definitely the kind of place. Considering that our server worked at three different locations simultaneously: servers, bar next door and cooking. She did a good job! Everything we ate was very good. My wife had a custom omelet with fresh vegetables, an English muffin and a side of geese. She had only one complaint, the grotto, there was only too much butter. So, they took their oat flakes, boy was hot and good. My daughter had an egg sandwich on a simple bagel with hash browns. And I had a grilled chicken sandwich on rye bread with one side of cornuggets. I had to share the cornuggets with my wife and daughter. I just wish I had a second order. As far as the bill is concerned, it was very reasonable price. Other then the can of the soda. I would definitely eat here again"
