"I would probably give this 2.5, but it’s leaning on the worse end. Very over priced. $30 for 1 entree and 1 appetizer. No sides. The broccoli was mushy, the carrots were almost soggy. Everything had a slightly oily and slime feel/ taste to it. The pad see ew was pretty bland. Not terrible, but nothing great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice visually and clean. The staff was friendly. My wife and I love Thai food, however and this was the in the bottom 2 places out of around 10 that we have tried in SE Portland. The food is just really not good and I was shocked that it was rated 4.6 stars. It’s barely 3 if I am being generous. I rarely write bad reviews but I just don’t want others going in expecting something clean and tasty and being disappointed like we were."

"I love Takahashi. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The sushi is always delicious and fresh. If you are looking for something really spicy try the jalapeño role. I didn't expect so much kick, but it was pleasantly surprised. My taste buds were on fire, but it was so good. Very recommended."

"The place felt small but it worked out for a group of 11. I ordered the Kara Age and Las Vegas special roll and it was delicious! It is definitely worth the price. One thing to improve is having a simpler menu and them not being sticky. There was just a lot to go over and the fact that they are laminated and big doesn't help."

"Friendly, located near mall 205. Expensive for the same sushi as some of the other $3-$4 per plate conveyor belt sushi places. The popular plates at other places here they raise the prices way up. Dragon roll, volcano rolls ect. Not much going around on the conveyor belt to choose from. The Manhattan was good."

"This place was awesome. Every bit of it. I recommend placing yourself there for the happy hour specials, as you'll be able to try an assortment of dishes, at a discounted cost. Food was remarkable. I'd recommend this spot to any and everyone!"
