"The above is what my friend text me when i told him I was ordering from Love Curry last Friday night. Sadly, I had already placed my order. I don't like to post negative reviews, especially in these times and I like to support local businesses, but the fact that these chumps won a UK award.. someone is taking the P . Cheap horrible meat in the tandoori starter, took one bite and spat it out, ive never seen meat look like that, made me feel ill. My partners Veggie Paneer dish was no better and my main was poor and I couldnt eat the greasy bombay alloo, Nan bread was good..well done Ive walked past Love Curry for years on my way to pick up better Indian takeways on Cowbridge Road, With that name it was never gonna be good was it? but I read they had won a UK award and thought maybe theyre worth a shot Best in UK? what a joke, theyre not even the best on their street..not even top 5. Try Red Chilli, Purple Poppadom, MatanCherry, Star of Wales, Mint Curry..Anything That meal was offensive.. Give the award back"

"I am pleased that the meal exceeded my expectations on many levels. I expected simple bistro dishes and thus be presented with tellers of food with a series of cheerful mehle was a really pleasant surprise. this, combined with the pleasant view of the hectic of the bay, the competent and friendly service staff, and the laughable favorable prices thanks to the tastecard (take them 50% of the average price of £6 for a starter and £15 for a pornstar and it is almost the same price as a sizzler or a toby carvery made for a fantastic evening. I have noticed that vouchercloud run the same offer so that it is definitiw worth checking while this deal is. I would like to pay the full price for the quality of the food we have eaten."

"This place used to be amazing, one of our regulars. Unfortunately when we ordered this time, after waiting over an hour, we discovered they sent the wrong naan breads and a wrong curry. Having read multiple 'wrong curry ' reviews it appears they frequently try to fob off anyone who orders a lamb curry with a chicken one (I imagine because if they get away with it it cuts their costs). On phoning them they asked if we would accept credit for next time, which we declined as the curry sent wasn 't one we wanted or could eat (unsurprisingly we wanted what we 'd ordered). It then took them over an hour to deliver the correct curry, by which time everything else had gone stone cold (and I 'm still not sure if was a genuine lamb curry). Mistakes happen fair enough but little effort was put in to rectifying this in reasonable time and as a result the meal was ruined. Having ordered food at around 6.30pm we didn 't get to eat until after 9pm. Not great for a Sunday night. I 'm sorry to say it, but don 't bother."
