"Staff are so lovely here. The food compared to my local nandos is unrecognisable. I dont know how some places can get it so wrong while others, like this place, are consistently good."

"A few friends and I got together to try something a little different and my taste buds cannot thank me enough! A quaint little restaurant that's very design serves to highlight the wonderful interaction the wait staff provide throughout your meal. Honestly I am taken back by the level of service we received and then to top it all off the food was perfection! We began with an antipasto plate that had a great selection. I ordered a medium steak with fries and salad and for me this was the highlight, the steak was so delicious I had to share with others to show what they were missing out on. We ordered three deserts to share amongst the group and keeping in line with the rest of the evening were absolutely blown away.<br/ <br/ Do yourself a favour and check in to Bonjour Bonsoir for a wonderful meal and fantastic service."

"Lovely traditional restaurant with comfortable chairs, tables that don 't wobble, high quality glassware and proper cloth napkins that the attentive staff lay across your lap when you sit down. The dinner menu isn 't extensive, but some items change every day, and everything is properly cooked and presented. The wines I tried were very good, too. Only two things detract from this dining bliss, one minor, one major: bowls are for soup, pasta and dog food, not lamb or fish dishes. Cease this token trendiness and serve them on a plate, as they 're supposed to be. unfortunately, the 'cappuccino ' was as last century as the decor. The decor is fine, it suits the period style of the place, but that coffee had no place in 21st century Melbourne."

"Despite the number of not great reviews here, I enjoy the food here,I like their $11.80 specials that include a drink and are excellent value,the majority of the food is quite different to your standard casual Chinese food found in Melbourne,Im not from Macau, so I dont know whether the food is authentic or not but its pretty good for me.<br/>As for the service, most of the complaints are about one staff member and I think she knows who she is. However, this place is good for a quick, casual relaxing meal"

"Had lunch here today with my daughter and the staff were quite welcoming and polite. I ordered a Caesar Salad, as I’m gluten intolerant the waiter informed me that the croutons were not gluten free so I had to omit them but the chef was happy to make gluten free croutons for me so I didn’t miss out. The Caesar salad was delicious as was the mixed fruit juice I ordered. We sat outside in the back courtyard it was peaceful and lovely. The service was quite quick we didn’t need to wait long our water glasses were always filled. As I love all things French this was the perfect place for me, the staff and service was excellent and the decor was well presented. I would highly recommend this lovely cafe. <br/>Cheers Georgina"
