"We had been so used to going to Irene’s)we wondered what we had missed by the new face on an old establishment..after all the ohs ahs at how nice the Reno’s looked we ordered what turned out to be a delicious sea food lunch. Hubby had fish chips which he throughly enjoyed.. fresh fish as opposed to frozen and my seafood risotto was delectable with shrimp scallops and clams …creamy and delicious ! Lovely atmosphere and don’t forget to check out beautiful washrooms!"

"Fried Shrimp was way too over cooked, sent back shrimp to kitchen, second batch was even more similar to rubber texture and completely dry. Fish was delicious but still over cooked, I imagine that the chef has never eaten at a proper seafood restaurant ever."

"I'm far from the primo expert on poke bowls, but the poke bowl here is one of the best I have tried!The fish (at least the salmon) is fresh, and they are extremely generous with their portions of fish, rice, and toppings. I've also tried the fish and chips, and they are good but nothing to write home about. I usually come here for poke bowls over anything else.The prices are fair considering the quality. I don't like to cheap out on raw fish, so I don't mind paying a little more for something truly delicious and fresh. Plus, I expect to pay a few extra dollars when eating at the Market. The ambiance is lovely and lends to a general sense of freshness and quality.Overall, Seoul Seafood Shoppe is a great choice for lunch if you're downtown and craving a quality poke bowl."

"We eat at Archies at least once a month, and have done for twenty years. My husband grew up here, and has been going since he was a teen. The fish & chips is a treat, but we usually have the seared halibut or the shrimp & haddock skewers. The chowder is a nice starter if you're really hungry, but if you want dessert you probably can't do both! Love the coconut cream pie, or an old-fashioned root beer float. Satisfying meals, and they know how to cook fish perfectly. Prices have gone up over the years, but "Good fish ain't cheap, and cheap fish ain't good.""

"We ordered the eight-part chicken and pommes with gravy for takeout the personal was friendly enough and the huh seemed quick. what we didn't recognize until we came home with our food was how overdue and cold the huh we ordered was. Seriously...badeshem, the skin was a very dark chestnut brown (overdone) and all pieces were dark meat, not exactly what we expected. that was obviously a whore that sits around one of them and had been reheated by a fast dark in a deep deep or something like that. the riders, although they were a generous portion, were completely undercut and we actually put them in our deep frit to cook them. maybe an evening for this restaurant and maybe we give them a second chance because they are so comfortable close to us."

"Visited this fish and chips place a few times now and I can confidently say that its consistency of both food and service are solid. Located on a corner of a major intersection in South London, the sign stands out well and while it shares a parking lot with several other businesses, it is the best non-chain restaurant in that plaza. The owner cares a lot about the food quality and it shows up as consistency and for the uniform cooking, no matter the type of fish. I tried 3 different ones so far: halibut, haddock and pollock. My favorite is the pollock, but that's my personal preference. Most go for the haddock for a cleaner and more hearty bite. The halibut is really good if you prefer a firmer initial bite because its flesh is denser. They always ask if you'd want a light or heavy batter. Light works out very well for my recommendation. Both fries and onion rings are also done great here. Portion sizes are good and the pricing is reasonable. I was surprised at the combination of ingredient quality, the batter texture flavor and the sides. This is a damn good fish and chips place. Update: The grilled salmon and pollock were great too!"
