(the decor demonstrates the overwhelming surf support) You make the role is so much exploded in popularity that you have a wait of at least 20 to 30 minutes during the lunch hours- trust me, it is certainly worth waiting or postponing lunch 'up to about 2. The choices are endless and some sound a bit bizarre (sushi pizza), but they are all winners. If you're a fan of Sashimi, the spicy Ahi role is a must. I add avocado for an extra texture and subtle taste."

"A hole in the wall as you walk past, but............ the food was incredibly fresh and well prepared. A real treat and reasonably priced in an area where other restaurants are unreasonably priced (a sign of the times). Our only true regret was that we were too full to order more."

"Ate here several times on my stay on the big island. Had the red curry twice and a cashew with tofu once. Be sure to let them know you want your dish made vegetarian without fish sauce and they can accommodate. Nice service and the food came out fast every visit."

"Although busy, almost a whole house, we sat within 4 minutes. Our waitress was apologetic that she was pulled to her other tables, but was amazingly efficient and got our drinks and food to us as soon as it was ready. The food itself was soooo good! The sushi is definitely fresh, tasteful and well made. We couldn't eat anything we ordered. But I was able to recruit the tempura and make it to our breakfast plates... again, tasty! attentive, friendly staff who desire the meals they serve for the needs of the customer. Will definitely recommend others and give me back!"

"Awesome and cheap happy hour specials especially for such a tourist destination. Great views of ocean front and perfect for sunsets. They serve breakfast until 2pm. Far better food than any of the other restaurants in the area. Ordered the seafood sampler platter and wow! The fried fish was the best part fresh and delicious. Onions rings were crispy. They give you an abundance of various dipping sauces. (Which is great for people like me who can’t get enough sauce) Honestly way happier overall than the experience with the place across the street. Atmosphere is laid back. Service was chill yet great!"
