"Very very good. First of all, it is one of the very few restaurants open until late in the evening, so that if you want to enjoy a show or an exibition at the Barbican, you can definitely eat something good without rushing out in the middle of the performance. The staff was kind, the atmpsphere warm and cosy, and the special chef was simply delicious. It was not the first time for me eating Turkish food, and this one was indeed one of the best meal I had ever had. I strongly recommend it, also because prices are even with the quality of what you are offered. A weak point? Perhaps the desserts."

"We had a great family meal here. The staff were wonderfully friendly and a good laugh. The cocktails were good and tasted like they had a good quantity of booze. The menu was big with lots of choice (even for me as a vegan) the staff explained all options when asked and made some recommendations. The restaurant was busy and vibrant and everyone was happy with their food."

"Booked a table for 8 people, turned up bang on time and we were ordered to wait outside. As it was a joint birthday and leaving do for 2 of us, we had some extra guests. When 2 extra turned up and we only had 1 spare seat the manager, without informing me, told them that one of them would have to leave. I spoke to the manager when I found out, and she was clearly ready to die in a ditch over us not being able to seat any more people. I was left mortified, having to turn friends away, despite there being empty tables around us, and 2 empty seats on the table next door. It would have been easy to accommodate us, but instead I was left apologising to guests and telling them they had to leave. We only stayed because we had already ordered food, but to add insult to injury they had burned our order, and we had to completely reorder 30 minutes later. Nobody apologised for any of this, my birthday was ruined and I was left in tears in the restaurant. For anyone who hasn’t visited in a while, the food has gone downhill and they no longer serve cocktails. I could handle both of those points if we hadn’t been made to feel utterly unwelcome from the second we set foot in the door. What an extraordinary experience."
