"On a Monday night in early season we actually struggled to find food anywhere in town Mont Dore is not the gastro capital of Europe but as this place was open and relatively busy we tried it. We had good service from a hard pressed couple of guys, and food was not bad at all. Fairly simple but hot, fresh and tasty. Really this is more of a cafe than a restaurant but none the worse for that. If you need something quick and relatively cheap then give it a go. They have nice tables outside too if the weather is good enough."

"A joke!!!!!!!! Thursday August 16, 2018 in the evening. We got there a little late to find a restaurant in the town of Mont Dore (63 , that evening, all the restaurants contacted by telephone were full. Only one responds favorably to our search, I reserve immediately. Then I look at the website of which I attach 2 photos. Promising!!!! Gastronomic restaurant!!! And what about the tempting menu presented on their page (which must perhaps have been an old Christmas menu .... So be it! 8 p.m., Here we are. A large and beautiful room......... empty. Wow, everywhere it’s full, there’s no one there. I take my phone and look at the Google reviews, only one before mine and deplorable. Come on, it's just an opinion, let's not trust it, and now that we're here... So let’s be honest, it’s not something to be sick of either! But we are light years away from a gourmet restaurant as presented! Obviously it’s not a €50 menu either, here it’s €28 (starter-main course-dessert . But as my wife and I are relatively epicureans, we are used to walking around and trying all types of restaurants. Here we are on what I would call “Gastronomic à la Flunch”. It's not refined, no discovery, just good. A single menu with 3 choices per dish. And far from the site's tempting menu, basic, popular and not even local. In my opinion, Starter fond of fourme d’ambert fig (bad combination, no flavor False filet dish (requested rare, arrived at the right time and had a bad taste of poorly washed grill On the other hand, the garnish is endive/mushrooms. (Endive!!! But when we know the number of people who don’t like it we’re planning something else!! I tell the waiter, to his great surprise, that I don’t like it. Answer we will give you more mushrooms. No other choice. Homemade fruit crumble dessert. (Wow, that doesn't break a duck's 3 legs We expressed our dissatisfaction by stopping by to pay the bill. The person at the reception did not understand that their site displayed such an announcement, this presentation should have disappeared a long time ago listening to it.... And the marmot.....!!!!!"
