"I'm a local in the area have visited all takeaway outlets nearby, the Afghan Charcoal was the last one I visited for the first time on Friday nite the shop was completely empty besides 5 staff members in the kitchen , there was no warm welcome or a smile not a good start , we placed our order which was only three wraps ... We waited 28 minutes with no communication from any staff of why it was taking so long .. I was forced to stand up in front register to get some acknowledgement.Only then we were noticed and was told it won't be long .. 10 mins later she oppoligies for the wait due to being busy ??? Lol empty shop ?Anyway the food could have saved it but oh we were wrong it tasted like left overs on boxing day that's being nice.I do think writing these reviews but if you run a takeaway outlet please just do your job promptly with a smile ....Go crows"

"Il faut comparer le comparable... La passerelle n'est pas un Resto mais un snack. Mes attentes sont donc en relation avec ce type d'établissement. Donc, "carte" très complète, un mélange de mcDo, turc, pizza et KFC. J'ai pris un kebab, et j'ai trouvé de la vraie viande dans un pain bien fait. Rien a dire de plus, sauf que qu'on "snack" très correct avec un rapport qualité prix tout à fait aux normes."

"I've eaten here a few times now and tried a few different dishes. All of the kebabs are cooked over a charcoal fire and as a result have that irreplaceable smoke flavour that cannot be replicated with an electric brazier. The lamb (tikka) is to die for, juicy, flavoursome and I would love to have her marinade recipe. Chicken is almost as good and while swami is not my first choice it's pretty good also. But the real discovery for me was when I invited a friend to join me there for lunch and she suggested we split a serve of Manto, a form of dumpling. For me these were a revelation. Filled with, mince and beans in a very light delicate dumpling case and dressed with a yogurt sauce. Despite being full of kebab I forced a few down and carried the rest home for my dinner. From observation this place is frequented by cabbies and you can bet a cabbie always knows the best place to get a good meal. (That's how we found the best dosa in Adelaide, but that's another review) Really recommend this place if you like something a little different."
