"Awful. Poor service. Nasty food. I paid £4 for this cod. It was hidden squished underneath the chips. I called to complain and the owner said all his fish are like this. I also asked for the food to be delivered at a social distance. The guy who delivered the food was waiting on my doorstep despite giving him time to move away."

"Appalling, inedible fish with such doughy batter. The inside of the batter was 1 inch thick of stodgy sludge. Chips very pale and not tasty. Staff very busy chatting and so got order incorrect. Only take cash payment. Very disappointed- total waste and ended up in the bin."

"I 'm no too enamoured with establishments bribing you with discounts for 5* reviews as do Posh Fish Chips. Bit dishonest me thinks. That said...I 've made two visits to the shop on Llantrissant Road...and both times been really pleased. We like that they serve more than just cod which we 're not too fond of. We 've had both the hake and haddock... and both were excellent. They were cooked to order, in good fresh fat (no stale old fat smells wafting out the door) with a very generous helping of decent quality chips. If I 've got one niggle and that was the fat wasn 't drained enough from the fish..so ended up being slightly 'soggy ' by the time I 'd made the 2 mile journey home. However, under the grill for a couple of mins and the fish was crispened and the flavour remained excellent. So, whether on my next visit I get discount...or not, is by the way. This is a chippy I can heartily recommend. So Posh Fish Chips, cut out the bribery and continue to deliver good quality food...and we will come back."

"Recently had fish chips from here it was so beautiful. chips were freshly boiled the teig was not too thick or fat really enjoyed. we also had kebabs from here they were really nice always freshly cooked never too fat. our new one to take away!"
