"I thought this restaurant was great. We were able to be seated immediately to a table with a view on a Saturday night without a reservation. I had the fish and chips which was delicious and the service was very attentive which was a pleasant surprise after being ignored at a competing restaurant around the corner. In my opinion a hidden gem !"

"This place was terrible. the fish and the chips sucked. the chicken sandwich was brutal. the menu was small and offers little variety. I hope they are not gluten-free, because their options are the wings or the chicken sandwich without buns. where are the fresh seafood? the chef should be ashamed to serve the mule food they prepare. save time and go to the mcdonalds 50 km away. the filet o fish is better than anything they get at this place. the live music was good."

"We enjoyed a pleasant meal with very attentive staff looking after us. The menu has a good selection to choose from. Great location with unspoilt view of the lake."

"Staying in Baddeck for 4 days. Had to have a lobster dinner while here for sure!! We arrived at 6:00 to find a crowed venue but we gave our name and were seated within 15 mins. The lobster was phenomenal!! The shells were packed full and it was so sweet. Also served with a side of slaw, wonderful potato salad and mixed greens with tomatoes. Our server, Jayden (sp? , was fantastic. Despite the crowds and chaos, she smiled the entire time and was so attentive. We we never rushed. The service was great and food outstanding. I would totally recommend this restaurant. And ask for Jayden if possible. ;"

"Beautiful view and good food. My husband and I each had a salmon dish and it was delicious and came out in a timely manner (although we got there 45 mins prior to close so there weren't a lot of people). The waitress was friendly but I felt rushed when ordering (which again could've been the time we were there). But overall a delicious meal and good experience!"

"Very disappointed in our meal here. Soup was relatively flavorless, Lobster dinner was very expensive and underwhelming. Even the service was not great. Recommend Freight Shed as an alternative."
