"Just had delivered two kirbedge burgers ,onion rings,frickle sticks and naughty chips of which we were really disappointed,eaten down there three times now and chips wer really crispy scoop type chips,had a takeaway last week and got the same but this evenings chips wer same old stocksbridge burger joint chipswill give it another try instore and takeaway and if no change then may not go again,the chip sharing experience is great with great chips but todays wer Not. Sorry but three stars only really disappointed.baz n shelly"

"During a weekend in a remote hut, we ordered a meal for 7 people to deliver. the ordering was efficient, the shippers had an alpt room to find us but kept in contact by phone and despite the problems the eating piping was hot, the order was accurate, the portions were a good size and the eating delicious. would definitely recommend taking this with and wish it was closer to home."

"Made an order for delivery on the app. App said delivery in 25 to 35 minutes. 40 minuted later it was apparently out for delivery. 20 mins later the app showed it had been delivered. It had not! Gave it 10 mins then called them. Delivery driver has just left they said, took them over 10 minutes to do a 4 minute trip. Pizzas, wedges, garlic bread and cookies were all cold."

"Just been down for breakfast. Really disappointed with the service. We were the first to order as no-one else was in, and had to wait at least 40 minutes for the food. When it came it didn’t come altogether and the breakfast was cold, egg wasn’t cooked properly. The food was on the kitchen counter at least five minutes before it was served to us. Must admit they were happy to replace. A friend was in at the same time and they were waiting over an hour just for breakfast waffles! They decided to leave. Will not be returning"

"After the refurbishment I 'm a bit disappointed with the place. It reminds me utterly of a wetherspoons, the country pub charm completely wiped out. It 's a shame as it use to be a pub with a bit of character. The landlord (not to be confused with the manager) is very rude. Him and his mates are very rowdy, takes away from the family feel. We were disappointed to be shouted at across the Pub when we brought our dog in, very rude the way we were spoke too. We live 30 minutes away and had come to see friends. We were shouted at that there 's a sign above the door. High up on the beams several feet too high for an average size person to naturally see. Forced to sit in a cold small room completely isolated from every other person in the pub. Valued this pub on it 's family and dog friendly atmosphere. I wouldn 't say this pub is dog friendly. I would say it 's token gesture , can 't even get into the bar area with a dog. I wouldn 't choose to come back after the refurbishment. With the basic Wetherspoon look and the lack of dog friendly bar space this pub doesn 't stand out from any other. I 'll stay closer to home where 4 legged family are better off and the atmosphere is more lifted."
