"After yesterday in the afternoon she seemed strong again, we went on the way to Bliesgau. The football field was found relatively fast (Reinheim is really very small), but the café in Herbitzheim is not. We finally end up looking tired in the coffee art of Krempel . We managed to get a table with chairs on which pillows lay. Here it was quite cozy in the sun, even if we missed a beautiful farm garden. Three stars. Cleanliness: It is given; three stars. Service: Whether the man or woman of the operator pair is working in the kitchen, we have not experienced; in the service in the guest rooms and in the garden both showed themselves. There are obviously many regulars here, because all but us knew that the man had his birthday; There were congratulations, hugs and Bussis. Of course, we had to congratulate him, but without hugs and Bussis. You will notice to the two people that they are with great joy and passion in the matter; what may be lacking in the service is made up by kindness and cordiality. Three and a half stars. Food and drink: There is a small map: three kinds of tea or coffee, a bit of alhoholic, three varieties of beer, a cremant and a white wine; Zero red wine and zero spirits. On food: two cakes and four tartes with different coverings (e.g. apple, pear, Mirabelle); I forgot the fourth covering) and three kinds of flame cake. My wife ordered a Grundls Fresh (0.33l EUR 2,20) and I tried the only wine offer, a dry Riesling from the Rhenish Ciesterzienser winery Michel (0.25l EUR 5,50). For a Riesling very smitten; there was nothing to complain about. Both we ordered the flame cake with bacon, onion and cheese for EUR 8.00 per piece. The flame cake was like a flame cake, only the cheese, a Munster, was a bit weak on the chest. But no matter what; he tasted good overall. I couldn't photograph him; we had nothing to photograph. The café seasonal, a typical farm, is located directly on the leisure path Blieskastel from Blieskastel to Sarreguemines Saargemünd. we sat there for a three-quarter hour and at that time only a single vehicle was moved. It's all rural. The café opened on Saturday, Sunday and on holidays between 14 and 19 and by agreement. Gabi Steinmann, the operator, also offers herbal migrations between April and October, which can also be brunches with subsequent termination and sufficient participation. As soon as we stopped our hunger with flame cake in the coffee art of Krempel, this time we only had a small order. My wife chose a piece of black forest cherries EUR 3.00 and did not want to drink. I took the offer Espresso plus Grappa for EUR 3.50. The back tressing host Gabi had listened to my order and immediately praised her grappa over the green clover: this is not the normal stuff you get anywhere but something special! And indeed there was nothing to put on him, and the cake also knew to please; not a convenience product of large bakers such as Coppenrath Wiese, but a basic finishing performance. Three and a half stars. Price/performance ratio: good, because at high prices the clientele in rural areas remains very fast.
