"We ordered a large combo corned beef/pastrami. I 've never had it served like a club sandwich with a middle slice. The bread seemed like thin sliced Pepperidge Farm. The beef was tasteless and their was very little peppery seasoning on the pastrami. On the good side, people sitting near us seemed to be enjoying their seafood from that menu. Go for the seafood, not the deli."

"The food is AMAZING!!! Michael is AMAZING and so are his drinks!!! EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!That pork chop was as tender and as tasty as it gets. The fish toast was delicious (forgot to take the pic)! I can't even explain the explosion of flavors that you experience in your mouth and same with those pimento hush puppies.I'm from New Orleans and I LOOOVE grits. I grew up eating grits so I was a bit skeptical about theirs. They did NOT disappoint!!!My only complaint is that I'm here for work and leaving on Saturday night. ? I WILL be back before I leave."

"Placed an order through DoorDash. The food was bare minimum edible, so I doubt I will order again. The Philly cheese was completely dried out, felt like I was eating pure ground meat and there was very little, I mean like a minuscule amount of cheese and onions. Thus it was VERY dry and not the least bit moist. To compound matters further, I specifically requested extra onions for the Philly, extra blue cheese crumbles for the salad, and extra cheese for the French onion soup. I would have gladly paid extra if they had an option for such things. In either case there is nothing more frustrating or aggravating than a restaurant that has an option for added and or special requests and then proceeds to totally and completely ignore it as if you never asked for it. Suffice to say, there was less than even the normal amount of onions for the Philly, a dab of cheese for the soup, and normal crumbles, not extra for sure! I mean come on guys, do you care about your customers or don?t you??? Never ceases to amaze me how hurt the economy is and how hard it is for businesses to make good money and yet you have a place like this that not only doesn?t put forth extra effort, they won?t even put forth a normal expected effort. The shepherds pie was good and the wedge salad was good, but I can?t afford to play hit or miss and flip a coin as to what item will taste good or bad. Oh well, that?s how you get a negative review and a lost customer."

"Very nice selection of vegan dishes. We tried the cauliflower wings, the burger, the basic bowl, and the rice pudding. All very good, particularly the home made vegan burger (the beets worked better than I expected) and the basic bowl. Also an innovative cocktail menu. We sat at the bar and the barman was excellent however we had a collection of used plates piling up that went unnoticed until we left. As it wasn't that busy, I think someone could have taken the initiative and cleaned up."

If you are hungry, order accordingly, even for the large plates.The review: Our dining selections were grilled oysters with crab fat curry and cashews. Grilled grouper with tomato butter, zucchini, and trout roe. Bone marrow with shrimp tempura and spicy mayo. Presentation of each selection was excellent. Each selection tingled our taste buds, we were quite satisfied with our dining choices.Pictured is the menu this evening, I forgot to take a picture of the oysters, dug into the grouper immediately when it arrived, and had the presence of mind to take a picture of the bone marrow prior to digging in.Back in Charleston any time in the future?
