"We recently went out with friends to the Tamam for dinner. It was our first time there and we'll look forward to going back. The whole meal was absolutely delicious, from appetizers through desert. I especially enjoyed the mutabal ( eggplant dip) and mujaddarah with roast lamb. Added bonus- very nice owners and servers!"

"Back in North Van means checking out another Persian restaurant. Cazba is well known and has a second location downtown (on Davie’s Street). It’s located off the main strip but ridiculously close to Zeitoon Restaurant and Yaas Grill House. All the Persian places in one spot. I dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 3:45pm). The place was half full; pretty good given the odd off hour timing. The inside is spacious with several tables and a few TV’s playing old NBA playoffs (random) and the Food Network."

"Weird little spot. Super tiny. Had a burger and a mixed plate. The burger was nothing special. The mixed plate was better. Have to order on an iPad while the guy stands there to assist. Why not just have him take the order? Friendly service though."

"The seekh kebab is very good indeed. Tender, perfectly spiced. Naan is soft and warm. Maybe a touch too pricey, but it is filling and I am being a bit picky here. Not much yoghurt is provided, but you'll get more if you ask. The chutney that comes with is beautiful. The service is efficient. A great experience all round"
