"We stopped in here for lunch and were very pleased with our decision. Elizondo also proved a pleasant, neat town for a bit of an after dinner stroll. We needed that, as our menu del dia meal (just 10.50 Euros pp) was more like a feast: three courses, and included wine, water and coffee. Excellent value and great food, starting with a hearty soup. Service a little slow but that was fine as only appeared to be one woman serving and the place was close to full including a sprinkling of pilgrims and/or walkers. And while she spoke no English, she was friendly and efficient. If I'm ever in Elizondo again (unlikely as that is) I'll be very pleased to return."
