"Highlights: friendly staff, nice interior and atmosphere, good pretzel and meals are not bad. Priced reasonably. The $20 jugs on a Sunday is also a great deal. Lowlights: music was a bit loud for a Sunday evening, no garnishing with the drinks even though that comes in the pictures and description. Overall good, would come here with friends again maybe. Thanks"

"We were surprised there was no option of sitting inside with air-con so we sat outside and sweltered in the heat. I guess this is summer in Mackay? We enjoyed a trio of dips for lunch and a BLAT burger which was fairly good. Coffees were ok but service a little slow. Lucky we were on holidays! Close to the lagoon but not very busy."

"A quick business visit to Mackay Qld. Stayed at Quest - good service. Dinner at Dorkas - wow. John Lethlean put it on your list. Duck was superb. Had churros for desert. Normally hate them except in Spain. Well done. Think chef's name is Tolsten??. Looked up TripAdvisors reviews and dismayed at one review. Needs updating. This is 1st time ever i have written a review but this was excellent. Best of luck."

"Excellent variety on offer, the menu changes every night and is a combination of tried and true (steaks, salmon etc) and something a little different - the Crab & Coconut Risotto was DIVINE!! Entree's were good, and wow!, the desserts were wonderful! Service was warm and prompt. Great place for a meal even if not staying at the motel."
