"Had a group of 15 dine here and everyone was over the moon with their meals. They are huge portion sizes and full of flavour!! The staff went out of their way to make our experience great and stayed way past closing so we could keep drinking and eat our cake!!! Would definitely come back here. "Came here for lunch with some mates last week. I had the nachos and my friends had burritos. The black beans are awesome and the guacamole is the best I've ever had. The staff said it was under new ownership and you can really tell the difference. The ingredients were all so fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back, so much better than zambreros. So impressed by how clean the store was and how helpful they were with their suggestions. Best place in hillarys for sure!"

"I work in Hillarys so have been a regular at MadMex since the day it opened a few years ago. It is fast food and it is a franchise so don't expect authentic Mexican food like you'd get in California (where I'm from or um, Mexico : (where I have lived but it's pretty good. The only major item missing is refried beans which I am constantly complaining to them about. This particular franchise is run by a lady from Columbia (I told you, I go there a LOT and within the confines of the franchise's menu (no refried beans!!!! , they do a pretty good job. The staff are usually helpful and happy to change things around for you without any extra charge. Beware of teenage girls serving during school holidays though as they tend to be a bit stingy with the portions. Try to get one of the guys to serve you, much larger helpings."

"What a fantastic place with such big vibes and I never had so amazing nachos. we all loved her absolutely. only on the bottom they had extremely long waiting times. it takes age to get a table for the right kitchen and took about 20-30 minutes for our nachos and other snacks, but it was absolutely worth it."

"Had lunch here today - enjoyed a small BBQ meat pizza - order taken promptly with the meal arriving 15 or so minutes later. The base was reasonably thin with tasty toppings.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.There was a 15% loading for the public holiday."
