"After enjoying the green serpentines up from Schwyz, we decided to take a coffee break at the top of the Ibergeregg Pass (1410m). The restaurant was open at 11:00 but we were the first guests, but more individuals joined later. Definitely an ambience from yesteryear. We had two ok café crème and a Nussstengel from Muothatal which was tasty but with a quite coarse filling. Nice area for hiking but not much of a direct view from the restaurant."
When the weather is nice you can also eat and drink outside.

"Skiing Hoch Ybrig today, we had lunch at the Steigada. They offer typical raclette, roesti, etc, but also wood grilled meats. We ordered the Schnecken filets-Beef filets cubes served in an escargot dish. They are covered in a foamy, herb butter with a choice of potatoes (gummeli), bread or salad. Delicious!"

"You feel very well looked after by the host couple. especially recommended are the fine grilladen and of course the excellent potato salad (resp. gumelsalat, as the natives say.) according to their own specifications the best gumelsalat in europa. right they have!"

"Went there with a friend last thursday cause we wanted to get out of the fog. Walked up from the Village out of the shade into the sun and were stunned by the view on the huge deck of the restaurant. We were the only guests at the time (11:10am, offseason tho), we ordered a alc free Beer and a Water at first, but decided to stay for lunch since it was very warm on comfy. Had Älplermacaroni for luch with Applesauce. The food was okay."
