"The outside looks like a cabin. Good looking modern, high ceilings on the inside. Very uplifting modern feeling inside. Very clean. Friendly welcoming staff. Good atmosphere. Service was good. The apple cider was very good. Not sweet, just right. Exactly what I want in apple cider. The food was well prepared and fresh. Very clean fresh ingredients. The style of cooking is not to my liking. My wife used the word fusion. I assume it means many different ingredients that you traditionally would not have combined. For example fish on pasta with feta and olives. The pasta was more like risotto but better. Large rice style pasta. I thought the pasta was good enough for me to cook this style of pasta on my own. The combination was light, almost salad like and pleasant enough but was not exactly to my taste. I guess I would have preferred a more traditional cooking style or even Louisiana cooking style. My wife said her fish, different main course, was very unusual in its taste. Then the prices are high at $29 US for the fish with pasta. Moderately small portion. It is a modern cooking style that I also find often goes with a higher price tag. This may well be what you prefer so I want my review to inform you but not put you off going."

"The staff was awesome!! We had Darcy and she was so professional and kind. There was great teamwork in the staff too, that was really cool to see. Fun atmosphere and delicious food! Warming up leftovers at work the next day was really yummy too."

"Location, location! it was our first time in montana and the hampton inn and suite in whitefish was perfect. it was central to all the places we wanted to visit. we enjoyed all the amenities from outside fire, hall bath, and my sons used the gym. the hotel was clean, the staff was excellent, and we are still talking about the amazing hot breakfast we used every morning. liz und kristine (the kitchen staff) were so courteous, super friendly and nonstop. the breakfast area was immaculate, nothing ever ran out, and it offered a lot of different tasty foods, a friendly smile, pleasant talk and suggestions for travel. I hope that I will return one day to montana and if I do, they can best believe that I stay in the hampton inn and suites whitefish. great experience!"

"Fantastic eating and service. the chefs are friendly and always available when we have been there. they welcome you like old friends and look forward to seeing you. we have been enjoying for over a decade first-class meal at mcgarry’s and since we are native, they enjoy the next season, if less busy. the healed is fantastic when available. a beautiful mix of pacific northwest and local montana ingredients. in our recent visit we had the rather divine mushrooms. the Vietnamese spider attizer is a favorite that I ask every time sandy and the lemon drop martinis are the best. mcgarry’s is one of my favorite restaurants in the flathead valley!"

"The food was great but the service was even better! We were taken care of by a blonde lanky gentleman (don't recall his name) and he recommended us really good wine and food. Promptly brought us garlic bread and the main course also followed fairly quickly. We were in a bit of a rush but I'd definitely visit this place again for a relaxed dinner if I am in the area!"
