"Made a small order through skipthedishes a few weeks ago, and I have to say we finally found our new go-to restaurant when it comes to having sushi delivered.<br/ <br/ We only ordered maybe three basic rolls, four tops, and they were kind and generous enough to hook it up with a complementary soup, salad AND canned drink alongside a cute note. The food itself was so much better than I thought it would be. Had little expectations when it came to the quality considering the prices but everything tasted fresh, exactly the way it's supposed to. Plus the food all held up during the delivery. <br/ <br/ 3.5 star rating since we obviously haven't been to the restaurant itself, but we will definitely be ordering again."

"Grabbed an order of takeout and ordered a combo box with a couple rolls, salad, and soup. It was fresh, tasty, and worth the price! I have heard horrible things about the service but since that wasn't an issue for me, I really enjoyed the experience. Way too much food for just me. <br/>Apparently the prices were raised and not advertised so I'm a little upset about that because I ended up paying more than I was expecting but the value was still there regardless.<br/>I'd order again!"

"My partner and I have been going back to Sushi Delight for over 2 years, I think its time to leave a review. <br/>What I like the most about this place are, the freshness of the food and THE OWNERS. Every single time we go back they always have a smile on their face. Sure, the decor is simple but for me thats fine. Their sashimi is always prepared carefully with ice at the bottom to keep it cold and fresh and not a lot of restaurants do that. Also, Sushi Delight's taste is nice and not overwhelming. EVERY SINGLE sushi taste different. I found that some restaurants especially sushi restaurants have a very hard time putting a distinct taste on each roll, because the ingredients are quite similar with other rolls. If I was to critique them super hard it would be that extra waiting time, its the reason for that 4.5 rating. For me honestly Id rather wait for a little bit more to get delicious food and great service. But, If you want fresh tasting and rolls that you wont get tired of, I strongly recommend Sushi Delight."

"I went here to pickup lunch to bring back to my desk, and I have to say this is one of the best pickup sushi places near the Portage and Main Circus. <br/ <br/ I picked up lunch here once a couple years ago (that I was not very happy with), but it appears they have a new management or sushi chef that has quickly changed my mind.<br/ <br/ The prices are a bit higher than some other sushi places, but it's not that much more. Considering the portion sizes very extremely generous, I would say it is the best value. The fish was extremely fresh and the rolls were also put together very well. <br/ <br/ The Salmon/Tuna nigiri I had a large piece of fish on each. It was almost 50/50 fish/rice which is fantastic; most places put half the amount of fish, and use twice as much rice for nigiri. Something about their preparation of the fish, the nigiri had a nice subtle butter like after taste, which was amazing.<br/ <br/ I usually prefer simple one ingredient rolls, so I also picked up the shiitake and avocado roll. I would normally prefer my shiitake roll without avocado, but that was not available and I was in rush to grab the pre-made boxes. However the avocado was an extremely nice addition to the roll. I have had avocado in my rolls from other sushi places, but here they made sure the avocados were perfectly ripe, and the preparation of the entire roll made it much better than what I expect most shiitake (only) rolls.<br/ <br/ I wouldn't let the slight price increase scare you from this place. 50 cents to a dollar more per pre-made box is extremely reasonable with all things considered."

"Two of us headed down today for sushi, and although its in a strip mall in an industrial park, we were really happy with the inviting and cozy decor. The downsides: Weak tea, some rolls were already coming apart when they were delivered to our table, and the sashimi party platter only included (one kind of) tuna, (one kind of) salmon, and another mystery fish (no shrimp, clam, scallop, octopus, etc), tako kimchi was only ok for me (my dining date really liked it though), and oddly the wasabi was not spicy. We were literally globbing each roll piece w it and - no heat. The good: Happy Mouth roll was delicious and good value, the food came out really quickly, servers were all friendly, the decor and ambience was really warm, comfy, relaxing, decently priced, a really good selection of items. We ordered it because it sounds so awful: Sushi Pizza - but it was delicious! Overall, the rolls we ordered were pretty standard and tasted good."
