"Such a lovely ambient atmosphere. Food and drinks very reasonable and food freshly prepared in the kitchen. On a dry sunny day, it is nice to sit outside and watch the aircraft come and go. Lots of bikers like to gather here, either off roaders, modern and vintage bikes. So nice to meet and chat and enjoy the day."

"Live in Dunmow and frequent this place quite a bit. Depends on the staffing level the bar can be clean and organised or can be the other end of the scale . On this particular night waited twenty five mins for a drink whilst another...member polished a few glasses while there a was full bar waiting and one poor girl serving. Had a table booked in the restaurant when we checked in at that the time stated it was not ready, happy to wait… 2/3rds of the menu was not available… it was only 8pm!!! Left not good enough.We support this place even though we see the service is basically crap a lot of the weeks as they clearly do not have the staff but that’s not good enough in todays world, especially in Dunmow when you can take advantage of the closed businesses around you, up your game."
