"We found this store about HappyCow (otherwise it would have been hard to find as it is located from the city with only a small sign near the road, indicating its presence). It is a nice little business, but with a variety of freshly picked vegetables and the garden/fields where the vegetables are harvested is right next to the store (worth a walk through the fields). Handmade bread is sold on a few days. The food prices are really fair and affordable. You can buy loose unwinded olives, garlic, carrots, etc. While not vegan, no meat or fish was sold, this is positve. "Shanis Kitchen was recomended to me by friends and I must say the food is amazing, I live in the neighborhood and eat at least once a week. Shani changes their menu daily, depending on what seasonal vegetables inspired them every day. The Thai Noodle Soop is to die for salads are fresh and well seasoned. And the appetizers are always tasteful and unique. Would someone in the area look for a healthy meal."

"Hidden directly at the sea. 31 is one of the best restaurants that I have visited in portugal, when it passes through the wooden blue door and the stairs up to the dach, a breathtaking view over the coast it will meet. the most friendly staff welcomed us and shani, the owner himself, led us through the menu and made sure that we made perfect decisions. you will find many vegan options (buddha bowls, thai curries, hummus, suppen etc. on the usually vegan/vegetarian menu (some dishes include eggs, milk or fish that can normally be replaced)"

"Test the vegan curry and it was pretty. the hotel restaurant overlooks the beach and has a magnificent view of the sea, now with the vegan options it is definitely worth visiting. it is more expensive than their average restaurant, but considering that it is in a hotel, it is not too bad. if they are a guest in the hotel, give them a 10% discount, they can use on a meal in the restaurant. the personal was very nice and attentive, and the overall experience was good."
