"The best fried chicken I've ever had it was introduced to me last year when I was out here in Newfoundland delivering and the guy ask me if I wanted something to eat and I said certainly and he brought Mary Brown's Chicken the best chicken I've ever had nice dick white meat great french fries a great sauce to go with it it was fantastic everytime I come out here to Newfoundland I always make a stop to buy that chicken it is fantastic enjoy"

"I have been to Newfoundland 4 times, and this was the first time that this restaurant was opened. So I decided to give it a try. The place was pretty empty, so I figured I would have good service. It was anything but. Service was pretty slow. The chowder was very thick and was about 90% potatoes and carrots. There was very little seafood in it. For the price that was charged, it as a disappointment. The fish was nothing special. There was 2 pieces of fish and not a lot of fries. The fish was dry For desert I had a home made coconut cream pie. The dough was too thick and the filling was way to thick. It was like eating cement. Of all the restaurants I ate at on my 1 month trip, this was the worst. I would not recommend the place unless there are no other alternatives."

"When you take a 14 hour bus ride cross country to catch a ferry, you have little options but to eat at the restaurant in the ferry terminal. Taking a taxi into an unknown town too is risky. Except for the fish and chips, the other meals were quite average and should be improved. Quantity was substantial and this helped as we shared the last remaining fish dish amongst us."
