"Ich bin mit ziemlich sicher dass in einem Umkreis von 100 km nicht mal annähernd ähnliches Restaurant gibt's als mein Ehemann und ich reinkamen fühlte man sich sofort wohl... das Ambiente an sich ist super schön , mit viel liebe zum Detail dekoriert!!! Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, kompetent und freundlich!!! Genau so wie die Besitzer , die ihre Gäste immer persönlich begrüßen und natürlich das Essen... habe seit Jahren nicht mehr so lecker gegessen!!!! Falls wir essen gehen möchten dann brauchen wir nicht zu überlegen wo es hin geht!!! Ausgezeichnet !!!"

This weekend, Twist was again our goal to let us be pampered by the kitchen of the Backers family in their farm, the evening was again at least as good as the one described here: [here link] So it went with a friendly couple to the about 80 kilometers from Rheine to Twist with lunch in Lingen. There was a plan to spend the lunch break in the old post. First of all, the several dozen different beers complete card with the cider I ordered. After the thirst of the foursome group had been silenced on the cozy benches on the market outside, we turned to the choice of dishes. There is a card with perhaps 15 positions throughout the day, in the evening supplemented by another small selection. It is placed a lot of value on regional suppliers and very seasonal cooked. Here is a small selection of ordered foods. For me, the baked fish I already knew about an earlier visit was ordered. Backfish with homemade Remoulade and Lingen potato salad is called on the map. North German comes the potato salad, with Mayonnaise, so my wife would never order, but the second lady at the table was Ur-Norddeutsch and so she likes it. He was good after her words, where a singing speciality did not want to reveal. The fish, probably a cable fillet, was very praised in the pastry. It was a good thing for my wife. Cold Gurke with North Sea crabs was announced. And here too the soup was praised by the lady. Sometimes the marks can also be in a soup pot without a bottle... the two gentlemen agreed to be a salad. The strawberries marinated with green pepper and balsamico were delicious and lay on the salad. In a sugar fitting, one of the gentlemen (not me!) ordered a Panna Cotta. It was as delicious as it was served on fruits. Then everyone was tired and after a last espresso, which was unfortunately served too cold, could continue on the bike tour. The service has on Saturday afternoon, on the edge of the very extensive weekly market of Lingen (the Rheinenser is envious when it is strongly emphasized by the large number of guests compared to the locals. That means waiting a little longer. There was no criticism of goodness. So I can finish. In the old post you can go to eat and drink very neat, and all day every day of the week.
