"The café and restaurant Lopshof is located in the former school home of Dötlingen. The house is listed, has a modern decor in various rooms as well as a beer garden with nearby playground. The house is operated by Lopshof e.V., which offers people with disabilities with integrative jobs. A little hint at the tables asks for anticipation if something doesn't work. However, we have not yet had to practice, it always worked perfectly with the staff. We've been there several times and have lunch with friends, eat coffee and great cakes. We also enjoyed a breakfast buffet. There are two fish and three vegetarian dishes Meat and poultry dishes Desserts And for the little guests: Pommes Frites Housemade Pancake Tagliatelle Hähnchennuggets Today we have been there again, with friends we have previously walked a nice round trail, the Huntepadd, then the lunch tastes even better. 1 hour you can walk the 4.2 km over the Hunte, past a dune grave through meadows, heath areas and forest until you arrive at the parking lot from the Lopshof. It is just asparagus time, and so today we ordered three serving asparagus, twice classic, once with Wiener Schnitzel, but one person took the vegetarian homemade gnocci, Mediterranean filled in a tomato basil sauce.
