"Today for the first time here and enjoyed the overall experience. this restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, and while I enjoyed my pho, I thought the thai was the right star. we ordered the thai red chicken curry, the basil thai spicy noodle with beef, and her bark ball pho. the curry had a delicious creamy taste, and while the spicy noodle dish was not all that spicy, it still had a great, hearty taste. also the phossic broth was really enjoyable, with the various flavors that really stand out, but not in overwhelming wise. we decided to dinate and there were many tables that this place seems to be more popular for taking orders. all in all, a great place I would go back to."

"I keep coming back to Original’s because the food is tasty, the atmosphere is great and most importantly there is a doggie friendly patio.This evening our server (who ultimately disappeared , made sure to take our appetizer and dinner meals separately so the kitchen made sure they came out accordingly… and then they came out at the same time. There was confusion on her part on the happy hour menu offerings, and if the service was more attentive I am certain our table would have ordered another round of drinks. Not once did she check in to see how we were doing, and eventually someone (who seemed to be the manager? took over the entire patio full of tables.To top it all off, I got my fajitas in 3 separate trips the plate of chicken, 10 mins later my sauces and then about 20 mins later my tortillas (after asking twice I appreciate that this was comped from my bill. Another person at my table had food delivered even later but only after we inquired, and were told the food was “dropped by the kitchen”. Having been in customer service over 20 years, there are many better ways that news could have been delivered (even if less honest… .Ultimately, after tonight, I don’t know if we will be back. I hope whatever may be plaguing the lack of attentive service is remedied as Original’s really does have some decent food."
In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, and there is no-charge WLAN.

"I hate to give such a bad rating but my hubbie and I had such a bad experience here I felt it only my duty to warn off any future souls who might stumble into this customer service nightmare.After a late night of scuba diving lessons, hubby and I found ourselves looking for a late meal and wanted something not junk foodish. We were happy to find this place open. We were seated quickly and there were several diners there so we were feeling hopeful that at least we'd have a decent meal. We ordered the popcorn chicken snack, a bowl of pho for him with a strawberry smoothie/tea and the lemongrass chicken for me.The pho arrived and was bland but edible. The noodles were not really cooked and the 3 strips of beef were not generous, but never-the-less the soup was ok for the very hungry scuba diver sitting across from me. My dinner never came. Neither did the popcorn chicken. Neither did the smoothie. Trying to attract the attention of the very young staff person was impossible. They totally ignored us. Being very hungry I was a bit grumpy watching my hubbie eat and by the time he was finished I didn't even want to wait for food they had obviously forgotten to make.Going to the till we asked if they had forgot. The man-child serving us was stunned befuddled and confused. He showed us a paper bag on the counter (which had to have been there over 1/2 hour because I saw it sitting there) and said it was our popcorn chicken. Wha? We never ordered take out. No one told us it was ours or to get it. Earlier I had noticed him throw out a strawberry smoothie he had just made - and thought, hey, were's our strawberry smoothie. Wha?Anyway, he rang up the bill for the entire meal, over $27. Maybe he just didn't understand. We weren't about to pay for food we never received. Finally it dawned on him and he apologized saying their computer wasn't working. The order was in the computer well enough to wring the bill up. Huh? I then suggested that perhaps they should just give us the soup for free due to the lack of service we had. This request was totally ignored (maybe he was hard of hearing?) and we ended up paying $8.77 for hubbie's mediocre soup. I was just as happy to get out of there so I could go get something to eat. I left hungry and we went home and put together some food.I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want bland soup in front of you in under 2 minutes and don't order anything else. For god's sake. Nothing else."

"One of the girls helping me looked like she HATED her life and job. She seemed so inconvenienced that I came in to buy a sandwich. Girl.. it’s 6pm.. relax. The other girl (I think her name was Maneet? was really nice checking me out on the register. As for the other girl… maybe she was having a bad day? The other reviews here tell me otherwise.. she needs an attitude adjustment. I’ll go somewhere else for food in Sutterbrook."

"I love this Subway. The part that makes this a 5-Star experience for me is that not once, ever, has any staff rolled their eyes or huffed or asked me to change my order because I've been picky about it. So I like my veg toasted too, but not before sauce. Double toast that food, it's FANTASTIC. Good food takes time. I get No negative reactions. These staff at this location are THE best and I love them."

"This restaurant is off the Barnet Highway in Coquitlam. I might have given it four stars except that when we walked in, there was only one waitress and she was busy attending to a table of patrons. So we had to wait in the lobby for about 15-20 minutes before anyone came to greet us. I'm not blaming the waitress...she was doing her best but there should have been someone else at the front desk. Other than that, once we were seated, the same friendly waitress brought us the menu and took our drink order. We ordered the three-course meal for $21 which included an appetizer: minestrone soup or choice of two salads, a choice of several main courses, and a choice of dessert: ice-cream or tiramisu. I had the seafood cannelloni with linguini and salmon, and my husband had the veal parmigiana with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Both were delicious, the pasta was home-made, and the servings were more than ample. I thought the price for the three-course dinner was very reasonable. We sat inside but noticed that there is also patio sitting for good-weather days."
