"Which is for an absolutely joyful place. we had the most beautiful day, perfect in every sight. all the workers were brilliant, we had a wedding cake crisis that was overtaken by bew. carol and her daughter emily and managed the day on soothing and soothing wise. all the guests commented on what is a wonderful place if I could give them ten stars, it would not be enough."

"A really great experience. You are shown to a table when you enter. It's all table service so there's no queuing at a bar which is great. Most of the cocktails are unique and gorgeous and not too pricey. The staff ate brilliant and we will definitely visit again"

"Good afternoon, I am writing this on behalf of my grandmother who is a regular at GG’s Coffee Hub. My grandma and grandpa enjoy coming in every week to the coffee hub to sit in the lovely surroundings and reward themselves with a coffee after...a lap around the lake. They often come home and tell us about the cheery and welcoming girls in the coffee hub and what entertainment they provided that day my grandparents say it is an on going joke that the two young girls always give them something to laugh about and make them feel very welcome as if it was family welcoming family. I am however a little concerned that they came home after a visit on Wednesday with a negative experience, not towards the business but more towards the member of staff on shift. Unlike the normal employees they have towards the end of the week/weekend the lady on shift was very rude and unwelcoming towards my grandparents and made them feel more of a hindrance than paying customers. It seemed, according to them, all the lady cared about was drinking her own drink and replying to a message on her phone. The conversation was very minimal and felt as if they were trying to be made just to hurry up and finish. Understandably my grandparents left quite deflated which is something no-one wants to see especially their family. They didn’t want to make a complaint about their trip as they love GG’s and will continue to return, however in future they said they will stick to the days when they know the staff that make them feel welcome are working. I want to just reiterate again, that this is nothing against the company my grandparents can not praise GG’s enough, but when my grandparents come home deflated because of and the customer service received from an employee somewhere you can imagine I had to say something about it. One last thing, if you are thinking of going to GG’s my grandma suggests one of the delicious tea cakes and a flat white!"

"Heard of a deal on the radio the day prior to my visit.As a regular customer i thought i would sample my 'free treat ' as advertised ..which is awarded with a hot drink purchase which i would be purchasing for my partner anyhow.Sadly the staff knew nothing of the offer,nor did they investigate and simply remained very unhelpful and appeared un-interested.Eventually they admitted the offer did exist but never offered the points on my card,nor gave me a receipt so i clearly see it run by poorly trained kids."

"“We decided to go to the Egerton Arms as it was a birthday treat for a member of our family, and also we had not been for many years. When we arrived there was quite a few cars parked on the carpark. Parking for disabled...folk was unclear as we could not see any defined disabled parking, so we squeezed the car as close as possible to the back door entrance. As it was a Sunday we were told to look at the Sunday menu only. This was not clear on the website which had examples of a la carte menu and sunday menu, we were expecting both menus to be available. We thought the menu was quite limited compared to other local pubs. Between us we had the roast beef, roast lamb and roast butternut, sweet potato chestnut. We all thought they were tasty but a bit lukewarm. For dessert we had apple and blackberry crumble which again was tasty but some reported it being too cool. One refused to eat it as there was too cool and excessive liquid in the crumble and they did not use the custard due to this fact. Staff were bright, cheery, quick and helpful. One of our party decided to go to the wheelchair accessible toilet, but could not use it due to the toilet being too narrow for them to get off the wheelchair and go to the toilet There were grab rails available, but due to the cumbersome manoeuvring required the toilet could not be used. We had to leave earlier thn planned due to this problem. We did not have the chance to have a coffee, which may have been a blessing if that was tepid too We can not recommend The Egerton Arms Country Inn due to the fact that it is not suitable for our family member who uses a wheelchair. We checked before we booked to see if there were suitable toilets. We were told there were. There were not! A lot of other folk in wheelchairs who find it hard to walk would find the supposedly wheelchair accessible toilet' totally inaccessible. A struggle at best The food was just so so, not warm enough, so, you felt as if you were rushing your food. Go elsewhere if you require a warmer than tepid meal Very disappointing"
