"In a town of pleasant but more or less forgettable tourist restaurants I found a true gem. As of this review, it has only been open a month but I found nothing to complain about. Typically, I go to a new place every meal. This time however, I have visited each of the three days I stayed here The place specializes in Turkish Cuisine and local wines. The owner is a true local who spent 7 years in Canada. He has combined his love and pride of his home cuisine with some lessons he learned abriendo. This is. It the typical kofte, kebap or pide you find every place else. It is broader mix of Turkish dishes with the occasional innovation from his time abroad. Also, the menu contains an extensive list of hot and cold starters which makes it possible as a solo diner to try many things, or to fill a table for all to share tapas style. There are also vegetarian options The local wines are actually a delight with whites, rose and red s to suit most palates from sweet, to medium and dry. These are wines that do not travel and are a delight to try."

"The restaurant offers 5 or 6 set menus for dinner and one of them is for veggies. You need to specify if you’re vegan and they exclude the dairy. The food is not super delicious but you feel yourself quite lucky to find vegan food in a meat dominant place, Cappadocia. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Prices are too high."

"You know it’s a good restaurant when everyone eating is also Indian. I’ve had such a hard time eating in Turkey and haven’t loved a single thing. "I went to Dibek because it was the only listing on Happy Cow. You have to make a reservation for dinner. The restaurant itself is cute inside and the service is exceptional. The food was tasty but honestly for the price not superior to what we could eat elsewhere for half the price. There are only 4 vegan dishes and maybe 6 veggie. Similar to all other restaurants in Goreme. Just walk around and you will see other menus with clay pot, salad, soup, hummous. If u want a fancy setting with homemade wine go ahead to Dibek. But if you are on a budget like we were, best to skip it and pay half price elsewhere. Closed on Sundays."

"The full-time vegan restaurants in göreme have been closed, so we looked for a restaurant with vegan options and chose nazar. the eating was simple (sweet green but fresh and made by a super friendly family) but this view was soouo beautiful! definitiw recommended."
