"I went to the Stine Hous for lunch and to get some work done. Wednesday special is tacos. When asked how my pork tacos where the only response I could muster was, 'Good, like holy shit good! ' I know I 'm classy but they were just that good. I recommend giving them a try."

"Exceptional experience in every way. The place was completely slammed--no open tables--and there was a sign asking patrons to be patient as they were understaffed. We sat at the bar and had excellent service and excellent cocktails and food. We never felt like we had to wait for anything. This place is special. We were especially pleased with the prices; most cocktails were $8 or less, and our food total for the two of us was under $30. We left completely stuffed and happy. HIGHLY recommend visiting 4 Sisters. We'll be back!"

"Le Chateau has a bar in the basement called La Cave. It has an amazing atmosphere. People are dressed from casual to formal. Anything goes. You enter by desending down a spiral staircase. The service is impeccable. Watching the bartenders make drinks was half the fun. The drink menu is very unique and was so good. You can get appetizers from the restaurant upstairs. We had the caramelized onion tart. It was a flaky puff pastry, topped with caramelized onions, confit tomatoes and chèvre. It was delicious! This is definitely on my must stop list when visiting La Crosse. The experience is so unique. You feel as if you are in Europe, not western Wisconsin. You won't be disappointed."
