"It was a very strange experience eating here. We had been wandering around looking for somewhere to eat and through desperation decided to eat here. We were the only people in so menu arrived straight away. We decided on the two course menu and selected quickly. It was only after this that I started to look around the mats on the table were very dirty and stained. Absolutely no excuse for this as they were very light weight and would have washed and dried in 30 minutes. First course arrived which actually tasted OK, but they came to take the plate away we were told to keep our cutlery for the main course! The more I looked round the more dirt I found this place could not have been cleaned for months, maybe years. Main course arrived, used old cutlery and again it tasted OK but I tried not to think what the kitchen looked like. Unfortunately I also had to use the toilet before I left if this had not been essential I would not have used it, let's just say it was no better than the rest. If the staff had tried to clean the place instead of standing around it could be a completely different restaurant."

"We tried here one night when the restaurant we were going to was closed and oh my what a find! The menu is excellent with a great choice of varied meals. The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly. The food was so good we returned another 3 evenings on our 7 day holiday. We tried everything from the fish, Mexican fajitas and steak. Our personal favourites were the authentic curries, not watery in the slightest and really tasty. The beers were ice cold and served in a frozen glass and the shots after the meal were a nice touch. We highly recommend the Metro we'll certainly be returning when we come back to Salou next year."
