"Good selection of real ales, very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. superb hot roast pork and apple sauce on a roasted ciabatta as a light bite to go with a pint of nutty black. the pub below is an old stylie school space with old school desks and an open fire, live music events and health home bar. in the upper floor there is a conservatory restaurant with views of the river dee and chester beyond. the main menu saw test will be back! large small water hole at the end of a river bank:"

"Beautiful village pub and restaurant, which is dog friendly. when we had a dog, we had to sit in the bar-fire room, which was unfortunately not fired, but the candles and pretty fairy lights made themselves to make it all cozy. the personal was really nice and made us very welcome. we had a nice table to enjoy our meal. the owner has even kindly brought our dog contracts. the food was good, the service was good and the decor was perfect for a cozy village pub. Many thanks for making our evening so pleasant and I would definitely recommend this dog-friendly restaurant to everyone in the opposite."

"I ordered from them and the order never arrived. I was waiting patiently by the door for 30 mins because I have autism and like to be prepared and diltch, nada, nothing. No phone call or front door lights turning on, no man or woman or person in sight. So I called up to have abuse from someone on the phone telling me to take it up with Uber even though there was no knock and no one arrived. I explained this for the man to get angry and blame me instead of blaming the lazy driver for not getting out of his car or actually making a phone call. They then proceed to say the order has been delivered. I am angry so I am writing this because I’m a peace and love kinda guy. To chic o land. I don’t like you anymore."

"I had the vegan sausage and barlotti bean casserole..... The best vegetarian meal I've had out in years... Which is a huge compliment to the chef tasty, delicious, presentation and filling, wouldnt change anything with it. Definitely be back to have it again. My friend had the pork and leek sausage and mash, presentation was he said it was delicious and tasty. My husband and wife of my friend had the steak and ale pie, unfortunately they were very disappointed with it, my husband had 3 small pieces of meat and my friend had 2, the rest of the pie was filled out with veg and the gravy in the pie was runny. They said it was tasty enough. More meat and no chopped veg with a thicker gravy is needed for it to be classed as beef and ale pie. Service was excellent, wine delicious.
