"We only had Oysters and. Few drinks, but we enjoyed every bit of it! We had raw oysters on a half shell, and then we had the oysters Rockefeller and the garlic butter oysters. All of them were fresh and amazing! For drinks I had a michelada and the sangria. The michelada was fun because it was a nice big cup with the bottle upside-down in the glass. My fiance had the margarita and it was also great. The have their Big Kahuna family platters, which we didn't get, but a lot of other people in there did and it looked fun and yummy! Our server was great too and it's a nice laid back environment."

"We did the tourist thing on the Wharf and I tasted the clam chowder offers, most of the restaurants on and off the Wharf. I thought Gilberts (the restaurant, not the market) was the best of the group, so we went in. We were not looking for food, but it happened happy hour, so we sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks. The Calamari Appetizer was only $2 extra w/ drinks during the Happy Hour, so we added it (the Chowder was not a happy hour offer. The bartender poured some "healthy" drinks and brought us the Calamari right away. When we enjoy our Calamari, the bartender heard my comment on the person beside me on the results of my Clam Chowder taste test. In a minute or so he brought me a bowl “on the house”! We did not stay for dinner, but I can testify to the friendliness of the bar staff, the big Clam-Chowder and the roasted Calamari-Appetizer."
