"Marco is the highest quality restaurant in Mahopac. Excellent choices on a menu that regularly changes to keep it fresh. Nice bar that will serve food to allow for more casual dinning. Servers are very attentive and service is tops. Owner/Chef, Mark makes all of his patrons feel at home and ensures that all is to perfection. Steak nights are a tremendous deal. Top quality steak excellently prepared for an incredible price ! Artisan pizza is delicious as an appetizer or main course. Save room for one of the delectable deserts !! I have eaten at Marco 's regularly over the past 10 years and consider myself a regular . Have never had anything but a GREAT meal and have hosted numerous parties/events there. "I went there for an impromptu late lunch. Seated with alacrity, the service was friendly and welcoming throughout. The ambiance was nice for a diner: quality jazz and well maintained decor. There's definitely a Greek vibe. I went with the moussaka which came with soup, ice cream and coffee. I took home the chicken stuffed with lobster, steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. Everything was tasty and the portions are huge."
