"A nice and laid back spot we stopped at on our way home from Galveston. Oysters, BLT, onion rings, fried pickles… lots of basic, but tasty lunch options. Good for when you want something simple yet done well. Very friendly service. We came on a Sunday afternoon and while the place was busy we didn’t have to wait for a table or wait long for our food. And the prices were just right for everything. Overall the quality of the food isn’t anything mind-blowing but it is good and the atmosphere is friendly and chill."

"We used to love this restaurant but haven't came in about 4 months. And MAN! You can tell a huge difference. The menu has changed and is very limited. The place smelled my old mop water. The waitress was decent but kind of uninterested. The food used to taste more authentic and fresh but today I had catfish, shrimp and oysters and they tasted almost microwaved. It was not good. There is a sign saying under new management and it definitely shows (not in a good way)"
