"The menu is creative, considerate and artfully executed. The flavors sing independent notes and marry together to create a beautiful melody. Highly recommend the grilled shrimp starter and the seafood pasta main? both dishes were truly impressive. Wine service and cocktails were fantastic. I love that the cocktail menu has little stories on it. It adds to the character and charm of the estate and your experience. The service- from host to management to our server,Sandra- everyone was so pleasant and lovely. It?s always so nice to eat where you can tell the staff not only are professional but are happy and proud of the establishment. It also says so much about a place when FOH speaks so highly aboutthe dedication of BOH. They?re operating with true teamwork at Dimon and it really impacts the guest experience? that takes hard work and determination not often seen or felt by guests. The white chocolate Oreo cheesecake was such a treat-but not too sweet. And they sent complimentary local chocolate covered strawberries to the table too, a generous and appreciated note. I?ve already planned exactly what I will order for when I return? and I cannot wait to have anothermagical meal besides the chef?s garden and fairy house on the perfectly shaded patio as the fireflies between to twinkle as the sun goes down. Thank you for such a special experience!"

"Completely overrated! it's below average food with a good view. if that's what you are looking for...enjoy. I've been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and every time it's subpar. The portions are small for the price and dishes miss the mark. Tried the filet this time because was tired of getting a small fish dish and it was covered in a thick brown sauce. A great $50 steak shouldn't be swimming in a tasteless sauce. my wife's lamb chops were also served with an unappetizing blackberry goo. we also had the halibut on the table and it was prepared in aluminum foil and that was served on the plate. it was just off putting to be eating around a piece of foil on the plate. very amateur. i am finished visiting this establishment and will find better options in the area."

"All I can say is amazing, all the way over the board 5 stars from the moment you go are immediately greeted by smiling faces. The atmosphere makes you feel as if you stumble over a hidden treasure, especially from Florida. Our waitress Whitney was amazing, friendly and energetic she offered amazing menu recommendations as well as some great conversations. Now the good part Blue Point Oysters raw amazing, muscles in Luciano were amazingly likely my favorite part of meal, the hot lobster role was juicy and tasteful, New England Clam Chowder was delicious when a little heavy on the bacon, crab cake boiled for perfection. The great finale of the crème brûlée vanilla custard was perfectly tasteful and a wonderful way to close the meal. Don't miss this place, it's great."

"Me and my husband had our wedding here on 11/6. Everything was amazing. The staff, food, drinks, and venue were absolutely amazing. All our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The grounds were beautiful and elegant. It was homie feeling and we personalized every room. I can't say enough good things about this venue so happy we picked to have our wedding here."

"Wednesday date night out with my husband and the atmosphere was very nice. I had no idea that downtown Riverhead had such a gem right on Main Street. Pro tip: Riverhead has limited on street parking but there are municipal parking lots on the next block and behind the restaurant. Allow a few extra minutes for parking.On to the good stuff. The food was AMAZING. One might even say outstanding. We started out with the crab cake appetizer. The sauces on the plate were delicious and I wanted to get every drop of those sauces into my mouth.We both ordered the Bison Cowboy steaks. The cook on them was perfect as was the seasoning. Chef Ian knows how to handle exotic meats properly. I felt like I was back in Cody, Wyoming eating my very first bison steak. It was that fresh and flavorful. His sauces were the perfect accompaniments to the bison. I am very picky about my sauces and I was very pleasantly surprised.Our server Alyssa made our night out both memorable and enjoyable. She was attentive, upbeat, knowledgable about the menu offerings and showed a passion for the food there.WE WILL BE BACK! I can't wait to try the Elk and explore the menu further.side note: The restaurant did a great job of maintaining covid precautions and protocols. If you want a great little steakhouse with an interesting twist on a steakhouse menu, you really need to try this restaurant"
