"We stopped here on a trip through Germany, because they provide rooms: but it really is a bar/cafe/restaurant. As we sat with a welcome beer, the terrace filled up with locals, all clearly regulars. There is a decent range of food, all cooked to order, huge portions of good, tasty food, and extremely reasonably priced. The lady who served us was delightful and very helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough!We should add that we were given a spacious and very clean room - a bit basic, but very good value. Breakfast was excellent, and included in the price. There is off-street parking."

"Das Klippeneck wurde vor einigen Monaten nach langer Schliessung wiedereröffnet.Die Einrichtung ist sehr ansprechend und die Terrasse bietet einen wirklich tollen Blick.Die Speisekarte ist sehr groß, was immer schon etwas Skepsis auslöst.Verwirrend ist beim Lesen der Speisekarte, dass die Getränke immer wieder zwischen die Speiseseiten eingestreut sind.Das Essen kann nicht vollständig überzeugen: der Salat ist so erschreckend aufgetürmt, dass man sich fragt, wie man ihn gefahrfrei essen soll und es mangelt an Dressing; das Schweinemedaillon war sehr trocken und die Saucen sind geschmacklich schwach; das Gemüse aus der TK-Tüte.Das Klippeneck ist ein schönes Ausflugsziel, aber kein kulinarischer Höchstgenuss. Hier kann nachgebessert werden."
