"I discovered this place when looking for places that had gluten-free options. I would call this place a hidden Gem in the TripAdvisor world. Ad Hoc is a small place with a server and a chef. First I want to say as soon as your food is done it gets delivered! It was piping hot. The fish and chips was a generous portion. You can order haddock or cod or both. I ordered the cod and it was very fresh. The gluten-free batter was outstanding. My friend loved it as well. This was the first time I had Glutenberg Beer on draft. It was very good and it went great with the dinner. The Cole slaw was very fresh and light. The fries were good. The one thing that I do not understand is why would you have a non gluten-free vinegar at a gluten-free restaurant. That would be the only thing that I would change. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals. I really appreciate having a restaurant with very good quality that is safe for my gluten sensitivities."

"My wife and I have heard great things about this restaurant and we were very eager to give it a try. We LOVED the food -- it was very well put together and imaginative. It was a superb meal. Unfortunately, the very poor service from our waiter really detracted what would otherwise have been an outstanding evening. Our waiter was very impatient and un-attentive to us. He didn't seem to have an overwhelming workload but just had this air about him that was a total turnoff. Very unprofessional and not customer focused at all.Other than that, it was a stellar meal!To give you an idea of how bad the service was, my wife and I almost decided to leave after starting with a drink and some oysters. The food was so good that we decided to push through and stay for the full meal."

"We visited Brunch on 7/19/15. When we were gone, I could only think that they urgently need a Fengshui advice. The food that was good did not compensate for chaos. My husband's omelette was given to another man, and everyone in our party was done when his order finally arrived. There was no replacement offer. I don't like a negative rating, but really, the waitress literally ran around, dodging customers, and badly placed furniture. You have to address this problem of too much useless things and lack of organization."
