"A short journey from Vilallonga, this rural hotel with restaurant is found on a pleasant country road in a very pretty setting. There is shaded parking for a few vehicles but plenty of open space for more. We arrived before check-in but were greeted in a friendly way and we were immediately shown to our room with an 'it isn 't a problem ' when I commented on how early we were. This was really the way the whole staff was, nothing was too much of a problem, they were always friendly and helpful and did their best to understand our Spanish! There are 6 rooms, all with individual names and they share a communal seating area which was stocked with games and books and various seats which would make it an ideal place for several families. Our room was lovely, decorated with soft furnishings in pinks and purples with plenty of storage space, an air conditioning unit which was a welcome surprise and a bathroom with a good sized walk in shower. Toiletries were green tea scented which we liked and for those of you in need of a hairdryer, one was provided. We ate a selection of tapas in the evening, whilst seated on the outdoor terrace in the garden. All of our choices were very tasty and the staff were happy to recommend regional specialities. We were given a free glass of red moscatel (sweet wine) which was a nice touch. Breakfast on the same terrace the following morning consisted of toast with butter and tomato marmalade which was delicious, cooked bacon/ham pieces, a few sweet pastries and a plate of fruit. It was certainly a plentiful meal and it was great to sit in such a peaceful space and enjoy the first meal of the day. We would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in, or to call in for food and drinks."
