"Visited for dine-it and it was a wonderful experience. Quality was too notch. As one of the last sushi restaurants available for dine-in, it also happens to serve the best sushi! This has become my regular spot."

"I ordered food last night and when the order came incorrect I called the restaurant to inform them. They flat out admitted that when they are busy they will give the customer whatever they have available, I have never heard of that in my life. The food went into the garbage as no one liked what they gave us, they didn’t even bother checking if anyone was allergic to this random sushi we were given instead, possibly poisoning/killing someone. No apology was given in any way, shape or form. The lady kept asking me over and over what sushi I got instead like answering that question would somehow make things better. No refund was offered in the slightest, I had to ask for one. Generally I would have shrugged this off but this was possibly the worse service I’ve ever had."

"Amazing sushi. Huge portions presented with artistic flair and attention to detail. The fish is wonderfully fresh with lots of standard Japanese offerings and some really creative dishes of their own. Family-friendly but also intimate and great for a romantic date. Can't say enough good...things about Akira."

"What appeared to be a small Korean family run type of restaurant turned out to be an expensive night out. The price was a touch above what they offered. The quality and authenticity of the food were above average. In fact, it could stand side by side with many that are more prominent in Toronto. However, the appointment lacked thoughtfulness. There was practically no presentation. But food was definitely very tasty. The service was reasonable. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. The decor, unfortunately, showed how cheap the owner was. There was no effort in making you feel comfortable sitting there. For now, I would just do take out......"
